Story -
Shanbaug was sexually assaulted by Sohanlal Bhartha Walmiki, a ward boy at the King Edward Memorial Hospital on the night 27th November 1973. She was discovered by the next morning at 7.45 am by a cleaner who found her lying on the floor unconscious and blood splattered all over. The police registered a case (A case of robbery and attempted to murder) on accounts of the concealment of Anal Rape.
